Great River SHRM is a 100% membership chapter, which means to become a member, you must have a valid and current membership with the national SHRM organization. Great River SHRM membership is now offered directly through SHRM via the Professional – Dual Membership.

What is dual membership? 

Dual membership means you have an active membership with both SHRM National as well as your local chapter, in this case, Great River SHRM .  Therefore, to join Great River SHRM , you must have a valid and current SHRM national membership. 

How much does it cost to join Great River SHRM?

As long as you have a valid and current SHRM membership, joining Great River SHRM is FREE…yes, you read that correctly!

Do the Great River SHRM events and meetings cost money?

• Regular Virtual Monthly Meetings for a Great River SHRM member are FREE.
• Regular Virtual Monthly Meetings for a non-member are $10 - $15.
• ​There are three special events held throughout the year in which the cost is increased for both members and guests (IgniteHR Conference, Member Appreciation Event & Annual Legal Event)
